Bursting With Blooms is a 15-acre Dahlia farm located in Central NC, 14 miles southeast of Charlotte. My love of Dahlias bloomed when I added several varieties to my personal garden a few years ago and the rest was history! I've invested all my time, money, and resources into my flower farm and passion for Dahlias. I call Dahlias my soul food and my mission is to share their beauty.

Our field is laid out with efficiency in mind. We are able to continuously Burst With Blooms throughout the growing season by using a designated well with automated watering system, plant in 9" raised mulch layered beds to reduce weeds and provide proper drainage for our tubers and we support plants with t-posts and netting which assist with not only overall plant health but also allows nice, long, strong, stems for cutting. 

Each year is a bit different as we've grown more and more every year. We currently grow over 3500 Dahlias in 225 varieties that are hand planted by myself and family and we imagine this is about the size operation we will stay because we are able to take great care of our plants and can manage the chores efficiently. Because we sell our cut flowers to local florist and event designers, we eliminate any varieties that are not prolific producers. While propagating the most prolific, most sought-after varieties and continuing to seek new to us varieties to fit our needs and our local market demands.
